On Nov. 11, our nation observes Veterans Day. We recognize and thank those who serve in the armed forces, protecting our country and allies in war and peace.
With the third-highest veteran population in the country, Florida strives to be the most veteran-friendly state. The CareerSource Florida network provides employment and training services to these skilled individuals. Veterans receive priority service at 100 career centers statewide. Committed workforce professionals, themselves veterans, are focused on connecting veterans and disabled veterans with employment.
More than 19,600 veterans secured employment following our assistance last year. We were honored to help.
