EMILY’s List, which works to elect women Democrats to public office, is backing state Rep. Allison Tant’s bid for a third term in the House.
“With the blatant attacks on reproductive rights and abortion access in Florida, it is essential that Rep. Allison Tant remains in the Florida state House,” EMILY’s List President Jessica Mackler said.
EMILY’s List has backed Tant before, lining up behind her first House campaign in 2020. Tant, who is a former Florida Democratic Party Chair, represents House District 9. The safe Democratic seat covers parts of Leon and Jefferson counties as well as the entirety of Madison.
