Many say BBQ is a way of life, especially in the South. For Sonny’s BBQ, however, it’s also about kindness. The popular restaurant, with three locations in Tallahassee, rewards employees and community members who demonstrate kindness.
Known as Random Acts of BBQ, employees are rewarded for things like paying for a ride for a coworker and doing extra jobs to help the team. Employees can receive things like recognition, a certificate and donations to a charity of their choice.
Sonny’s BBQ also honors first responders, teachers, the military and others contributing to local communities with BBQ feasts for their service.
