The Junior League of Tallahassee gave 93 kids a shopping experience they won’t soon forget to pick out clothing essentials as part of the biannual Kids’ Boutique. Hosted at Kohl’s, each child received an allowance, a personal shopping assistant and the chance to pick out new clothes and shoes, without spending a dime of their or their family’s own money.
Following the shopping trip, kids and their families were able to participate in arts and crafts projects. Junior League of Tallahassee President Carla Juarez said volunteers spend countless hours ensuring kids leave the event “with an added boost of confidence.”
