First Tee-Tallahassee snagged a major donation from the American Senior Golf Association and local philanthropists Wayne and Betty Edwards. First Tee-Tallahassee received the $10,000 check during a Jan. 11 event at Southwood Golf Club, where the Edwards were joined by 28 young golfers who will be participating in the First Tee-Tallahassee’s weekly Character-Building Class, along with several members of the FTT Board of Directors and Program Director John Stinchfield.
“It’s wonderful to see the community rallying behind First Tee-Tallahassee and its mission to positively impact youth through the game of golf,” said Chuck Urban, Founder and Chair of First Tee-Tallahassee.
