Triumph Gulf Coast Board advances $139M in grants

The Triumph Gulf Coast Board has advanced more than $139 million in grant requests as part of its implementation of more than $436 million in eight Northwest Florida counties.

The advanced requests include $98 million for Florida State University and Panama City to establish the Institute for Strategic Partnerships, Innovation, Research & Education; $24 million to expand nursing and health care programs at the Panama City campus of Gulf Coast State College; more than $7 million for Charter Schools USA; $7.8 million for Okaloosa County Schools to acquire and improve a property in Crestview and establish the Okaloosa Technical College North.
