‘Hefty load’ for FSU

by The 100 Companies

Florida State put the pads on for the first time during spring practice this week. Mike Norvell’s team must replace departed quarterback Jordan Travis and former Clemson and Oregon State quarterback DJ Uiagalelei is the favorite to take over.

Head coach Norvell said he has seen positives from Uiagalelei in the spring. “I think DJ’s handled himself as a newcomer coming in, in understanding that this is a pretty hefty load for installation,” Norvell said.

“But I think you could see that it worked that he’s invested even building up to spring ball. He doesn’t seem lost in any moment.”
