End of summer means return to football

Football season is upon us. In Tallahassee, it’s the beginning of a new era for college football.

At Florida State, coach Willie Taggart returns to the Sunshine State to lead a Seminole squad eager to prove last year was just a fluke. The Seminoles open at home against Virginia Tech on Labor Day.

Over at Florida A&M, the new head man is Willie Simmons, who was a star high school quarterback in Quincy, Florida. The Rattlers open the season Labor Day weekend at home against Fort Valley State.

The Tallahassee 100 wishes both new coaches the best of luck.
