First Tee – Tallahassee’s Ian Kelley, recently named Golf and Life Skills Program Specialist, took part in the launch of the Special Olympics Torch Run launch.
Kelley served as an ambassador at the event and was invited to speak to participants as an athlete who was diagnosed with Asperger’s and how he used it to mentor and inspire other athletes.
“I never let Asperger’s affect me personally. Instead, I embraced it, and it changed my life for the better. I’m very proud of what I’ve accomplished over the years and how it’s made me the man I am today,” he said.
