Guinean, Congolese, Senegalese. The Florida African Dance Festival is a valuable opportunity for people to better understand the continent’s range of dance styles, traditions and music.
Now in its 20th year, the festival brings together internationally renowned artists in dance and drum workshops June 8-10 at the Tallahassee Community College. Offerings include children’s dance workshops, African dance class for wheelchair participants, and vendors. The festival concludes with a performance at Florida A&M University on June 10 at 8:15PM.
