Top secret missions always have code names, and Tallahassee will soon understand the sweet meaning of “Project Mango.”
Recently, an incentive package to build a “package fulfillment center” on 170 acres near the I-10 and US 90 exit was announced by city planners. With over 1,000 full-time jobs at a starting salary of $15 per hour, the largest jobs producer in Tallahassee history, it was natural for Amazon rumors to sweep the city.
Details will emerge this summer, we can hope Amazon Prime will be local in fall 2022.
