For all that the COVID-19 pandemic has postponed and canceled, this year we can be thankful that the City of Tallahassee’s Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Affairs Department is keeping one familiar tradition alive — the joyful sparkle of Christmas lights at Dorothy B. Oven Park.
The City recently announced that this annual display of more than 150,000 lights will go on due to a smart decision to make this year’s display a safe and healthy drive-thru experience.
The park, located at 3205 Thomasville Road, will be open from 6-11 p.m. on weekdays and 5:30–11 p.m. on weekends through Jan. 1.
