Maria Maria now open in Midtown

Earlier this summer, the new Mexican restaurant Maria Maria opened in Midtown at 1304 North Monroe St. After only a short time, it is well on its way to becoming every local’s favorite authentic Mexican restaurant.

Owner Edgar Gomez got the inspiration for the menu from the Mexican town of La Yerbabuena, the hometown of his grandmother, who taught him to cook.

Mexican food is known for being rich in flavor, and Maria Maria’s goal is to honor that tradition by only using homemade, authentic seasoning and the highest-quality ingredients.
