You can tell a lot about a restaurant by its bread. With my first bite of Lucilla’s warm, crusty baguette, I knew this new eatery would become a Tallahassee staple.
Tucked on East Lafayette Street, the Southern comfort food meets Creole restaurant evokes an inviting atmosphere with soft lighting, quiet conversation and an extensive wine list.
The toughest part was deciding what to eat, but the snapper St. Charles complete with crab meat and smashed potatoes proved an excellent choice. Dessert included a Key lime crème brulee and the pumpkin bread pudding. Visit Lucilla for brunch, lunch or dinner.
