Florida students: There’s still a few days to submit entries for the 2018 Black History Month art and essay contests. Grades K-3 can submit art entries while grades 4-12 submit essay entries all based on the theme, “A Celebration of Innovative African-American Leaders.” Entries are due this Friday, March 2, by 5PM.

Winners will receive a four-year Florida College Plan scholarship provided by the Florida Prepaid College Foundation.

There’s also an opportunity to nominate full-time educators in elementary, middle and high schools for the Black History Month Excellence in Education Award. Get your entries in!
