Office Health Part 2 – Eat Up

by

Keeping healthy snacks in your office just makes sense. Munching throughout the day on nuts, dried fruit, fresh fruit, cheese, peanut butter or yogurt curbs your appetite for unhealthy sweets and vending machine treats. Try having grapes or blueberries.

Eating snacks every two or three hours helps maintain steady blood sugar levels, particularly when snacks are protein or fiber rich. You may also find that since you’re fuller, curbing excessive cups of creamy, sugary coffee is easier.

An added bonus to healthy snacking at work is that healthy snack grazing keeps energy levels high throughout the day. Goodbye 3pm lull!
