I’ve always regretted that I never made it to the Carnegie Deli’s main location in New York City to experience one of those sandwiches piled high with pastrami or corned beef for which the iconic deli was known.
Lucky for me, Temple Israel will be bringing Carnegie Deli to Tallahassee on March 3 during its 10th Annual Jewish Food & Cultural Festival, 10:30AM-4PM. In addition to sandwich platters, knishes, matzo ball soup, cheesecake and strudel are on the menu.
There will also be music, dancing, kids activities and kosher wine to purchase. Stop by to nosh, shop and schmooze.
