In 1973, the National Trust for Historic Preservation established May as Preservation Month. Whether it’s the first place you traveled to or a landmark that reminds you of home, Preservation Month encourages people to share stories of the places that are significant to them and their communities.
Is there a place that is meaningful to you? There’s no better way to celebrate the month than joining the #ThisPlaceMatters campaign. It’s as simple as downloading the materials, taking a photo of the places that inspire you, and sharing on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using the #ThisPlaceMatters tag.
Click away in May.
