This year’s hurricane season took a toll on Florida, Texas and the Carribean. For those students displaced by the storm, the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida (ICUF)-affilated schools are making it a little easier to get back to work.
Schools from around the state are waiving fees, expediting admissions and providing extra services for students from Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virigin Islands. Some schools, including the Florida Institute of Technology and Nova Southeastern University, sent 3,000 pounds of medical supplies to the Carribbean.
