Online Tool Helps Connect Students and Their Skills to Businesses

The Florida Chamber Foundation recently launched a free online tool to close Florida’s talent and skills gaps. LaunchMyCareerFL.org highlights in-demand jobs and the skills actively sought by Florida businesses.

In partnership with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and Florida Department of Economic Opportunity, the site allows students to see what choosing particular programs could mean for them, with the goal of helping them better plan fulfilling careers.

“This is a piece of gold that has been given to the folks who work directly in schools,” said Rebecca Schumacher, Executive Director of the Florida School Counselor Association.
