UF Director of Athletics to go behind enemy lines Aug. 22

by
Scott Stricklin

Local Gator fans say that when this organization meets, it’s civilization among the savages. On Wednesday, Aug. 22, the Capital Area Gator Club will welcome University of Florida Director of Athletics Scott Stricklin to the heart of rival territory.

Hired in 2016, Stricklin succeeded collegiate athletics giant Jeremy Foley, whose leadership led Florida to unprecedented athletic success. Stricklin will preview the 2018 football season under new head coach Dan Mullen, provide a facilities update and most importantly, answer whether Florida will beat FSU.

Gators of all ages welcome. Admission: $20-30 via Eventbrite, 5:30-7:30PM, Southwood Golf Club.
