The Southern Shakespeare Company takes the Cascades Park Capital City Amphitheater stage again for its annual Shakespeare in the Park Festival, May 10-13.
The theater company’s performance of Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” will take place each evening at 7:30PM. The weekend also includes a family-friendly Renaissance Festival beginning at 4PM, featuring medieval cuisine, sonnet readings, blacksmithing demonstrations, fortune tellers, jugglers, armored combat and more.
On May 12-13 at 5PM, attendees will be treated to a performance of Southern Shakespeare’s young acting company’s “Eighth Night,” an original abridged rendition of “Twelfth Night.” Click here to learn more.
