Beginning May 10, people from all over the world will descend on Ponte Vedra Beach to witness Florida’s largest and most popular PGA golf tournament of the year — THE PLAYERS Championship.
The annual four-day tournament boasts some of the best golfers in the world and provides one of the largest cash prizes, a total of $10.5 million. The event is a great opportunity to showcase the best of Sunshine State golf, not only to those in attendance, but to millions worldwide watching on television or the internet.
Playing this year are former champions Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson.
