We hope rough winds won’t shake the darling buds of May at the 2017 Southern Shakespeare Festival, held this year from Friday, May 12, to Sunday, May 14, at the Cascades Park Capital City Amphitheater.
The festival, presented by the Southern Shakespeare Company, aims to make the Bard’s work accessible and fun, and grow an appreciation for the arts.
This year offers a variety of performances, but the main performance will transport attendees to 1927 Chicago for the company’s production of “As You Like It.” Performances will take place each evening: Friday and Saturday at 8PM and Sunday at 7PM.
