GO GOLD® for childhood cancer

Go gold for childhood cancer

In 1997, a group of families impacted by childhood cancer decided that a gold ribbon would be the symbol to represent the warriors and heroes fighting for their life. September is recognized as National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a time to show support for more than 15,000 families that receive a diagnosis every year.

Here are some ways you can help raise awareness this September:

• “GO GOLD®” by pinning a gold ribbon to your shirt.

• Check out the American Childhood Cancer Organization (ACCO) website for creative ways to fundraise.

• Consider donating to a childhood cancer research center of your choice.
