Tallahassee Museum: History, Culture & Nature

Sitting on 52 acres off of Lake Bradford, Tallahassee Museum is one of the top-ranked outdoor museums in the state.

Also known to some as the “Junior Museum,” Tallahassee Museum provides a unique insight into North Florida’s natural, cultural and historical heritage. Here, you can see what an 1880s farmstead was like, have close encounters with native wildlife and learn more about the diverse cultural communities that have called this part of Florida home.

Stop by and meet the critically endangered red wolf pups, who were born at the museum in April – the first litter born there since 2005.
