This week, Florida’s famous Spiny Lobster Sport Season, often called a “mini season,” begins. Lobster mini season gets its name from the brief season, just two days, during which license bearing anglers can test their skills and attempt to fill their bags.
The 2019 Florida Spiny Lobster mini season will be held from Wednesday, July 24, to Thursday, July 25. While lobstering is allowed in most Florida waters, the most popular destination for this fun family experience is the Florida Keys.
