Mission San Luis, one of Tallahassee’s oldest landmarks, is opening its doors for complimentary admission on Aug. 25. Be transported to the 1700s, where you’ll experience life in a community in which Apalachee Indians and Spanish settlers lived together.
Explore the property and participate in activities and exhibits including archery, spear throwing, military drill reenactments and blacksmithing. Hosted in a family-friendly environment, the event will feature crafts and games for children. A back-to-school drive will coincide with the event, so please bring new school supplies to donate to local children in need.
