Black Friday

“Florida’s 270,000 retail establishments are encouraged by our robust economy and poised to offer great deals and an enhanced shopping experience,” according to FRF’s Scott Shalley.

Consumers are expected to spend $1,007.24 this holiday season in three main categories: gifts ($637.67); non-gift holiday items like food, decorations, flowers, etc. ($215.04); and gifts for themselves ($154.53).

The most popular toys this season? Pomsies, FurReal Friends, the Fortnite edition of Monopoly, Hatchimals, classics like Barbie dolls and Legos, Nerf toys, and anything with a big brand name behind it, like Harry Potter or Jurassic Park.
