The OJT 100 book club

a quiet revolution

If Oprah can have a book club, so can The OJT 100. Ours will focus on learning more about Florida history.

“A Quiet Revolution” was most recently updated by Chris Hand, former chief of staff to the Mayor of Jacksonville. The Richard Martin book first examined the political battle for consolidation in Jacksonville-Duval County in 1968, and Hand’s update takes us to August 2019.

Analyzing the policies, city councils and administrations of mayors Delaney, Peyton, Brown and Curry is a large task, and Hand’s update is most valuable as Jacksonville looks to great challenges and opportunities in the next 50 years.
