New resource helps parents keep kids safe

Lauren's Kids blueprint

Lauren’s Kids, a nonprofit dedicated to teaching adults and children about sexual abuse prevention and helping survivors heal, has released a new resource for parents to keep their children safe.

The “Blueprint for Building Safer, Smarter Families” is a comprehensive activity pack that parents can use to teach children in kindergarten through fifth grade the basics of personal safety and strategies needed to prevent abuse, all from a place of fun, not fear. This resource helps parents start an important ongoing dialogue with their children.

Florida families can order their free copy of “Blueprint for Building Safer, Smarter Families” here.
