The ins and outs of the Florida Capitol elevators

by The 100 Companies

Florida’s “New Capitol” building has come a long way since legislative session was first held there in 1978, and there’s a lot to remember in order to navigate it successfully.

When calling an elevator, rather than selecting up or down arrows, you choose your desired floor and proceed to a specific one as instructed. Once inside, don’t even think about reaching for a button – there aren’t any. Your next stop will be your destination.

Also, Plaza Level, or PL, is where you exit (think “please leave”) and Lower Level, or LL, is where you’ll find Earley’s Kitchen (think “lunch level”).
