The 2020 U.S. census is here, and the decennial count could not be more critical for Florida.
While many think of Census Day as April 1, most Americans can expect to receive a postcard in the mail requesting a response online, by phone or via mail between March 12-20.
With the process already underway, nonpartisan government watchdog Florida TaxWatch is traveling the state warning that an undercount in 2020 could cost the state billions of dollars over the next decade. TaxWatch is offering a new interactive map and other resources in English and Spanish, and urging everyone to #MakeFLCount.
