Baptist Medical Center Nassau is marking its fifth year in the nationally recognized Tipping the Scale youth mentoring and summer employment program. Over 1,700 students have successfully completed the program, which in Nassau County includes weekly mentoring, career-readiness training and the ability to apply for eight weeks of paid summer work at the medical center.

Started in 1999 by Baptist Health and The Bridge of Northeast Florida, a nonprofit organization, Tipping the Scale develops young people’s communication, social and work skills, and identifies their future goals.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Nassau County partner with Baptist to provide this terrific opportunity.
