Recently, we were in Pensacola speaking to veterans, elected officials and residents about the Explore Offshore coalition’s efforts toward energy development for natural gas and oil in national waters and bolstering energy security.
It’s important to talk about what we need to secure for our youth and future generations. Seismic surveying results are dated back to the ’80s, so a new round of results are needed to see what is offshore.
Once we can see what energy resources we have available, we will be able to reduce our reliance on energy imports from foreign nations thus strengthening our energy security.
