Marsy’s Law for Florida names state chairs

by
Marsy's Law

Marsy’s Law for Florida, the organization advocating for crime victims’ rights through Amendment 6, recently named four top state leaders from both sides of the political aisle as state chairmen of the bipartisan campaign to pass Amendment 6.

Attorney General Pam Bondi, state Sen. Lauren Book, state Sen. Wilton Simpson and Rod Smith, former Democratic state party chair, state senator and state attorney, are serving as co-chairs for the campaign.

While Bondi had voted for Marsy’s Law during the Constitution Revision Commission process, the announcement of her role as a state co-chair signals her endorsement of Amendment 6.
