Florida Governor’s Race Already Heating up

by

2018 may seem far off, but candidates for Governor are already off and running trying to win the Governor’s mansion next year.

Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam is the early front-runner on the GOP side, with daily rumors of other heavyweights such as House Speaker Richard Corcoran, State Senator Jack Latvala and Congressman Ron DeSantis possibly jumping in.

On the Democratic side, former Congresswoman Gwen Graham, Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum and businessman Chris King have already entered the race with others still weighing a possible run.

The campaign will be closely watched, expensive, long and, of course in Florida, unpredictable.
