National Travel and Tourism Week is about celebrating the power of travel. During May 7-13, travel and tourism professionals will unite to showcase the importance of travel and highlight the dynamic, hardworking people who make our industry remarkable.
Domestic and international travelers in Florida spent $90.9 billion in 2015, according to the U.S. Travel Association. This spending ranks our state second in the nation, directly creating 876,600 jobs, $23.8 billion in payroll income and $12.9 billion in tax revenues.
The data is clear: Florida tourism is a pillar of economic growth and job creation.
