Spring in Tallahassee means beautiful weather, Springtime Tallahassee and, of course, the annual legislative session. It seems every year our fitness and health-related New Year’s resolutions go out the window when the stress and long hours of session arrive.
This session, remember that sticking to your goals can be easy and rewarding. Here are a few tips for staying fitness-focused:
• Set a daily step goal, and get there by enjoying spring weather and cool temperatures during lunchtime walks.
• Don’t let work distract you from drinking plenty of water.
• Try meal-prep to save money and avoid unhealthy takeout.
