Supporting students, mentoring at-risk youth, coordinating volunteers and donating during disasters – Volunteer Florida does it all. As the state’s lead agency for volunteerism and national service, Volunteer Florida makes Florida a better place to live in virtually every aspect.
Guided by a bipartisan board of commissioners, Volunteer Florida grants more than $32 million to schools, faith-based organizations and other nonprofits, providing fiscal and programmatic oversight and leveraging private-sector support.
The agency coordinated disaster response following two floods, three tornadoes, two hurricanes, one evacuation and the Pulse Nightclub shooting in 2016. For more information, visit www.volunteerflorida.org.
