There’s no doubt Florida is the “Fishing Capital of the World,” with more than 3 million anglers contributing to $9.3 billion in annual economic activity. The upcoming license-free fishing day is an opportunity for Florida’s experienced anglers to spend quality time with loved ones and introduce sportfishing to those who don’t yet have a license.
Added bonus: The day coincides with an extended state Gulf red snapper season on Nov. 25, 26 and 27.
