Halloween procrastinators! You might want to get your costumes, decorations and candy picked out early this year because they may not be there if you wait.
Halloween spending is expected to reach record highs this year, with a spending average of $83 per person, up from $74 in 2015, showing Florida’s economy remains strong. Total spending nationally will surpass $8.4 billion, up from $6.9 billion last year, with costumes ($3.1B), candy ($2.5B) and decorations ($2.4B) leading the charge.
The lesson? Shop now or see something truly scary: your child’s reaction when a costume sells out!
