How Does Your Garden Grow?

Thanks to a grant provided by The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, in partnership with the Central Florida Foundation, the Frenchtown Heritage Marketplace garden in downtown Tallahassee will soon showcase delicious vegetable varieties, edible flowers and cooking herbs.

New garden space will serve as a living classroom for families who frequent the market. Staff and volunteers will lead gardening classes for children and adults, as well as cooking workshops with food sourced from the garden.

Participants from the Oasis Center for Women and Girls will create garden boxes, paint them, fill them and plant seeds and starts as a learning opportunity.
