You’ve heard the saying, “laughter is the best medicine?” Well, no doubt the antics of April Fool’s Day may just be that magical elixir you need. In fact, its effect on you and others has been proven to create short-term and long-term advantages.
The Mayo Clinic reports that laughter can be the ultimate source for stress relief. It stimulates your heart, lungs and muscles, increases endorphins released by your brain and fires up then cools down your stress response to give you that relaxed feeling.
But you should still be on the lookout for those toothpaste-filled cookies.
