1962 – Three years before founding The Doors, Jim Morrison attended FSU. The Tallahassee Democrat states, “Jim lived (in) a trailer in the area of Palm Court, located off North Macomb Street, and (later in) an apartment now occupied by the College of Law.”

1985 – Rapper, singer, songwriter and producer T-Pain was born and raised on Ridge Road in south Tallahassee. Did you know T-Pain is short for Tallahassee Pain?

2000 – Vero Beach native Jake Owen wears the nickname “The Sunshine Son.” Owen attended FSU before topping country music charts.
