Railroad Square pushes forward with First Friday

by The 100 Companies

On May 10, two tornadoes converged in Tallahassee’s Railroad Square Art District, wreaking havoc on the dozens of metal warehouses in this colorful collection of galleries, restaurants, vintage shops and offbeat attractions.

At least 21 businesses have reopened, and Railroad Square will present its traditional First Friday event on June 7. Among the restaurants that have reopened are Flamingoz A Taste of Miami, Halisi Africa, Pineappetit, Juice Bar Miami and déjà vu Venezuelan Food. Sweet Boozy Cakes Bakery & Cafe will reopen at 4 p.m., just in time for First Friday.
