Amphitheater at Cascades Park Draws Sellout Crowds

by

Grammy-winning band Alabama Shakes takes the stage to a sold-out crowd at the Capital City Amphitheater on Sept. 20. The group’s sophomore album, “Sound & Color,” draws from blues, funk and psychedelic rock influences.

The amphitheater at Cascades has hosted an array of major performers over the past two years, from Peter Frampton and Tank to The Avett Brothers.

“We’re thrilled with the popularity of the Capital City Amphitheater as a gathering spot for residents and visitors alike, and look forward to continued success with upcoming acts,” said Leon County Division of Tourism Development (Visit Tallahassee) spokesperson Lauren Pace.
