Tallahassee’s Downtown Market has re-opened for the 2021 season. Every Saturday from 9AM to 2PM through November, the outdoor event has new safety and sanitation guidelines including required masks for vendors, with visitors also strongly encouraged to mask up.
It is a farmers market with plenty of locally grown produce, area artists with wares for sale, food kiosks and live music. It’s been a tradition in the Ponce de Leon Park on Monroe Street and Park Avenue for more than 30 years.
The go-to place for kettle corn and boiled peanuts, I count the days until the peaches are ripe.
