What originated in Winder, Ga. in 1933 as a celebration of the March 30, 1842 anniversary of Dr. Crawford W. Long first using ether anesthesia, National Doctors’ Day was established.
Fast forward 88 years and our country has not only suffered through a global pandemic, but its physicians have now developed several vaccines to lessen the severity of a COVID-19 diagnosis. Amazingly, in about a year’s time.
