Become a Champion for Education

A new political committee, Florida Education Champions (FEC), is working to authorize sports and event betting at professional sports venues, pari-mutuel facilities and statewide via online sports betting platforms, with hundreds of millions of dollars in generated revenue going toward supplementing Florida’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.

While the state and federal government recently approved online sports betting via the Seminole Compact, the FEC amendment will open the market for competition including platforms like DraftKings and FanDuel.

First step is to secure the more than 890,000 valid petitions to make it onto the 2022 ballot. Go here to request a petition.
